This just aired yesterday– this radio show from San Francisco was dedicated to Cass as she was a presenter on the show. If you fast forward to 6m 20s, you can hear Cass talking about the project, and just after 8m in you can hear Amada:

I can’t believe I was a month away from meeting this wonderful woman. I’ve know Jason for almost 20 years (he’s my son’s godfather), and we were going to (and hopefully still will) visit at the end of december. This is the biggest tragedy I’ve ever been near.

In the spirit of getting the word out through the media for good causes, I’ve been spending all day letting as many people and websites know about our friends, and how they could really use our help right now. I have posted links to my blog post
    http://echoleague.wordpress.com/2009/11/19/empowerment-for-life/
and I figure if we all do as much as we can to get the word out, we can go a long way towards getting these kids the support they need to make it through this as healthy as possible.

    God bless all of us,
