Dear family,
Austin Murphy was close with my husband Nicholas Givotovsky. We lost him tragically in an accident this past July. My children are 10 & 11. My son was 9 at the time and made the 911 call. If you need any support from someone who has endured anything like this please get my info from Austin or e-mail me. I have had good support through this crushing event.

Dear Jason, Amada and Noah: On behalf of the Academy staff , students and administration, I send you our heartfelt wishes for a speedy recovery, both physical and emotional, from this most tragic accident. All of us at the school who remember going to school with you have very sad feelings for you pain and suffering and yet bright hope for the future. The children have prepared a special card for you which will be coming your way soon. In the meantime, keep hard at work at healing your bodies and your spirits. Although you have had experience with many nurses in the hopsital, I hope I can still claim the status of your favorite school nurse, Miss Linda.

Jason, you are a testiment of a true warrior and it shows in the lives you have touched. Your children learned their strength from the people they love. Give Noah our best, tell him Kele and Devin will save him a “double decker cracker smacker”. You, Noah, Amada, Dante and your families are ROCKS! You know cass is smiling down on you.

I have read what Jason has written and loved it because I too feel like in the midst of all the tragedy, we will get past and grow. I am so glad that the kids are doing better. I got to talk to my boy last night. It brought a few tears to my eyes. My boy will recover from this. I am glad that he will learn of his heritage as every child should. And even after I have received Dante to live with me, he will continue to know his extended family, the Hotchkiss’. They are also my new family. Jason and I grew a bond as a result of all this that I will embrace. He too has some strong kids that I have had the pleasure of meeting. I also thank everyone for the prayers and gifts that were given to the family. Our family appreciates it greatly.
